Next week is half term in Islington – only a few days after the schools went back from the unscheduled school closures.
(Some of them, that is. St Andrew’s CofE primary in Barnsbury, where I’m a governor, opened every day despite the snow. But we all have half-term.)
So what to do with the kids? The appropriately-named Ideas for the Kids website does what it says on the tin. Its tips for our area include perennial favourites the Little Angel puppet theatre, Freightliners Farm, Ironmonger Row Baths and the Geffrye Museum.
Even the Arsenal gets in on the act with a half-term competition for junior Gunners.
