No leaves anywhere near the line….

Network Rail are getting community criticism again.

This time it’s not the on-going frustration over access to Kings Cross; but the problem of trees alongside railway lines being cut back.

The latest example, up the line from Finsbury Park in Winchmore Hill, has caused outrage. It’s not simply pruning, but a slash and burn approach which strips the embankments of their trees, leaving ugly stumps instead.

No-one likes leaves on the line, but surely a more moderate pruning regime would work.
