Petition Britain

I’ve blogged before about Sophie Talbot’s campaign to get Network Rail to retain proper east-west access to Kings Cross station. And also about the petition for a discounted TV licence for Deaf people.

What I hadn’t realised then was how many petitions there are on the Downing Street site, and on what a range of topics. So if you agree with tattoing National Insurance numbers onto dentures; making stores maintain their toilets; or using the planning system to stop cats roaming, there’s a petition for you. No wonder Gordon Brown always looks so worried.
