More fallout from the 10p tax rate disaster. When Gordon Brown announced the move last year, Emily Thornberry MP was among those who cheered him on: “I am proud to sit on the Government Back Benches when my Government do things like that”. Oh dear… But now it seems that the brightest Labour brains had doubts at the time.
